Day 1: Masai Mara National Reserve

This day you will leave Nairobi on a relaxed drive across the floor of the Rift valley via Narok town to Masai Mara National Reserve.  This reserve comprises the northern-most section of the Mara-Serengeti eco-system, a magnificent wilderness encompassing 25,000 square kilometers of natural migration route. The Great Wildebeest Migration involves the seasonal movements of vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle and topi through the eco-system. The Mara has a richly varied resident game population, including the Big 5 and rare species like cheetah, bat-eared foxes and Roan antelope. Arrive in time for lunch followed by afternoon game drive.  Return to your base for Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Tented Camp / Mara Simba Lodge. Full Board

Day 2: Hot Air Balloon Safari  {Masai Mara Adventure}

Early wake up call then leave for a spectacular Hot air balloon ride across the Maasai Mara. The BALLOON SAFARI ADVENTURE begins in the pre-dawn hours and the magnificent view over the park is thrilling. You will take to the sky over herds of wildlife in the Masai Mara game reserve, flying in a hot air balloon. The balloon can soar over the most inaccessible and undisturbed parts of the reserve and offers a bird’s eye view of the plains below.

At the conclusion of your incredible flight, you’ll be treated to a champagne breakfast in the bush. Before returning to your lodge, your balloon pilot will present you with a Balloon Flight Certificate. This is certain to become a once in a lifetime experience you will remember long after returning from Kenya! You have seen spectacular sights and created unforgettable memories – Simply close your eyes to feel the warmth of the African sun on your skin, catch the scent of wild sage on the cool air, and hear the low, spine –tingling moans of lions at dusk. All these extraordinary moments you have witnessed on your journey! Leave Masai Mara for Nairobi to arrive late in the afternoon.
